Adult: Roller: Over 30: Bob Beasely with a hat trick to help secure a 4-4 tie for Red Vs. Black Youth: Inspired play, passing and teamwork are the basis of many championships won in the sport of hockey and the play of Ryan Soloman and Timothy Murcek this past weekend were a prime example of that as Red captured the Beaver Division Championship over Orange 6-1. Ryan scored three goals and two assists in the playoffs, while Timothy notched 7 goals and two assists in three games for Red. Kody Piper is a new player to Murrysville Dek Hockey this season and sometimes it’s the new players that no one knows about that are the difference in winning a championship. Kody played outstanding two way hockey for four games to notch four one goal victories for Silver and his two goals on Saturday against Maroon propelled his team to continue it’s mission toward a championship.

High School: The season has started with a first time leader in scoring with Kyle Wagner. After 3 games the past scoring champion, Andrew Virostek is right behind him and Tyler Wagner is right behind him. CJ Williams has been stellar between the posts and leading goalies only allowing an average of 2 goals a game.
